Officer’s Reports

o   President: Kim Gravely and Catherin Martin

  • The auction is Friday December 2 at the Hostetler’s house.  We will not have another meeting in December.

o   First Vice President – Erin Byrd:

  • Holiday decorations –Erin getting quotes on decorations for the front of the neighborhood.      

o   Second VP – Lisa Gill: Auction

  • Lisa has volunteers, but the more the better.
  • Please RSVP even if you do not have your auction item so they can get a count for the caterer. 
  • We need live auction items.
  • Jen Guynn presented how Pebble Tossers will be using the funds, revamp website and also on events.  Please email Jen if you would like more information.  Jen also passed out flyers on CHOA decorating mailboxes to raise money.  They would like a Redfield representative to help organize. 

o   Hospitality - Martha Keim: Still need a home for the end of the year party in April.    Suggestion was made that we have the end of the year party in a restaurant. 

o   Luminaries – Robin Isaf and Janna Benston – December 18 beginning at 6:30

  • Sign-up sheets for cookies.  Please email Robin if you would like to bring cookies.
  • We will have donations for Toys for Tots again this year.
  • There will be a bonfire this year. 
  • Luminaries will be handed out to cars during Light Up Redfield.

o   Yard of the Month -  Lauren Black and Brooke Taylor: Heath’s yard won the “coveted” award. J

o   Inspiration – Cary Kresl – Again Cary gave us some nice inspirational stories.

o   Horticulture – Ashley Mast

  • Lisa from Gramma B’s gave an excellent presentation on indoor planters.  You can buy a planter or take your container and they will do one for you.  Lisa brought some fantastic freeze dried flowers also.  http://www.grammabs.com/

o   Sunshine – Paige Meier and Becky Springer

  • Jenny and Chris Panatone and sister Francis, on Redfield Terrace, welcomed baby Molly. 
  • Please email Becky or Paige with any neighborhood sunshine news.

Recipe – may people requested Pattie McCallum’ s delicious appetizer recipe. 

Cranberry Feta Pinwheels Recipe

1 (6 ounce) package sweetened dried cranberries
1 (250 g) container spreadable cream cheese
1 cup crumbled feta cheese
1/4 cup chopped green onions
4 large flour tortillas or wheat flour tortillas or spinach tortillas

1. Combine all ingredients except tortillas, mix well.
2. Divide and spread mixture evenly among tortillas.
3. Roll up tightly, wrap in plastic and refrigerate at least one hour.
4. To serve cut into 12 slices.
